His practice has focused on criminal defense and constitutional law
for over 30 years. Steve is a 1972 graduate of Purdue University
and a 1975 graduate of the Indiana University School of Law-
Indianapolis.
Mr. Dillon was admitted to practice in Indiana in 1975. He is also
admitted to practice in United States District Court, Northern and
Southern Districts of Indiana, and the United States Court of
Appeals for the 7th Circuit. He is a member of the Indiana Bar
Association where he serves on the board of the Criminal Justice
Section; the Indianapolis Bar Association; the National Association
of Criminal Defense Attorneys (NACDL) and the Legal Committee
of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws
(NORML).
Steve is not only a noted criminal defense attorney, he has also
been a strong voice for justice and reform, having been a candidate
for statewide office for the Libertarian Party on several occasions.
